The new Safariland EXT™ Model 6883 Armor Carrier is based on the Oregon City and Bothell Carriers, addressing common requests from LE users, such as added flex to the side cummerbunds and shoulders with improved access, padding and extended adjustment range. The 6883 is a Front-Opening Carrier that shares the same base features as the 6840, while replacing traditional MOLLE webbing with Safariland’s Advanced Webless System.

The 6883 is available in current Safariland Armor Panel sizes in Black, Dark Navy, Tactical Green, Tan 499, Ranger Green, Coyote and Wolf Grey.

  • New adjustable and replaceable ergonomic straps that seamlessly attach to the upper shoulder without exposing the hook and loop

  • Customizable badge and I.D. shape options for the upper yoke and rear placard

  • Reinforced zipper cover with integrated laser micro-cuts for body-worn camera or other small accessories

  • Laser micro-cut mic tabs in the upper right shoulder

  • Assortment of functional chest pockets and slots for various equipment needs

  • Integrated front and rear wire and comm channels

  • Front side zippered opening plate pocket for in-conjunction with (ICW) plates sized 5x9, 7x9, 8x10, and 10x12 for male and female officers

  • Top loading rear plate pocket for in-conjunction with (ICW) plate sizes up to 10x12 and can also accommodate hydration pouch systems

  • Integrated elastic side cummerbund with stretch for greater comfort and adjustability
